Federico García Lorca was born in Fuentevaquerraductor GLOSS (Granada) on June 5, 1898. Poet, composer, playwright, essayist, painter, lecturer, artist above all else.
Between 1919 and 1928 living in the Residencia de Estudiantes in Madrid, cultural exchange center where he befriends the painter Salvador Dali and filmmaker Luis Buñuel, who wowed with her many talents.
His first artistic vocation was music. From a young age he began playing the guitar and studying piano. He composed songs with strong roots in flamenco and investigated the Andalusian popular songs by Manuel de Falla.
Lorca's poetic work is one of the tops of the poetry of the Generation of 27 and all Spanish literature. His poetry is a reflection of a tragic sense of life, social and individual problems such as frustrated love, courage, melancholia and passion
The language is a fusion of popular and cult. Proof of this is found in one of his most famous poems, The Gypsy Ballads.
Uses the romance in their variants of the novel, lyrical and dramatic.
As a playwright dealing with different genres, but his reputation rests on three popular tragedies: Blood Wedding, Yerma and The House of Bernarda Alba.
