Cultural values are customs and traditions of a people. Eh, cultural values aren't just dancing and singing. They are what represent us, as the Dominicans that we are. For example, Dominicans are represented by Merengue, that's a tradition of our people, Bachata, that's a tradition of our people, here in Peñon Barahona, we are represented by Pilapia. Pilapia is, it's a food that we... it's the favorite dish of people from Peñon. We have collaborated with lots of activities in the community. We have been invited to different places. We have shared with a lot of the youth who have joined this group, we've done lots of things. We have talks and conferences. We even talk about abortion. We sometimes even have to explain to the girls about what menstruation is. We talk to them about abortion, the drastic consequences that it can bring. The fact that I'm tied to a wheelchair doesn't stop me. It doesn't prevent me from being what I want to be.
