I'm originally from the Czech Republic and, I'm a communist refugee and, I grew up in Alaska on an island I ... we called it "garage sailing" On Saturdays I would go with my mom and we'd go from thrift store to garage sale and we'd pick up things, and I'd re-design clothes so that's what I would do for fun I started sewing and re-designing fashion It rains 80% of the year so ... I just grew up inside doing crafts, projects and things like that After Alaska .. I just .. I've lived in a lot of cities so ... but San Francisco is my favorite, it's where I live now and, I've lived here for like ... five years so I feel like it's my home here I'm trying to make everything like, bold and vibrant, but also, really classy and sophisticated I use lace and nylon flags, and leopard print, mostly I like the idea of taking apart different countries' flags because it's rebellious and you're not allowed to do it in a lot of places before I was selling ... I just ... I felt like I didn't have a purpose I was just wandering, lost, but ... if I'm ever upset or anything I could just come back to selling and for some reason it makes me happy
