This is one of the movie clips from "The kingdom and the beauty" made in 1959. The story is about the Ming dynasty emperor "Zheng-De" disguised as an ordinary person and took a trip to the south part of China and met a beauty named "Feng-Jie" which literally means phoenix. Zheng-De fell in love with her and promised her that he would bring her to the palace. However, after the king returned to the palace, he has forgot all his promises to Feng and led her life to misery and emptiness......
