Well, this cave was discovered or mainly populated
by the man who responded to the name Jeronimo Peña,
who was one of the principle founders of El Peñon, of Old Peñon,
and who lived in these parts of the mountains, near the Rincón Lagoon.
Also, this cave is the entrance to the Barrancolí Path.
To exhibit the natural resources that this mountain offers,
such as the diversity, the fauna, the two species of iguana,
the different kinds of birds that you find in this part of the mountain,
well, the Secretaria of the Environment
together with the community and an institution from the United States called Duck Unlimited,
has started, what I mentioned before, the tourism project in this area.
And I invite everyone who is watching me now
to come and visit the community of Peñon and these mountains
and to visit our cave, San Bartolo.
