John Buckman, Magnatune, Bookmooch, Why Should the Film Industry Use CC?
They should use Creative Commons, because if you've ever been to a film festival
and you've seen some of the most amazing films of your life,
and almost none of those ever get distributed.
They all just go away and no one ever sees them except for the people at the festival,
and that's just a crime, to have all that good work, all those years of work
just destroyed, and Creative Commons is a way for all those films that don't get picked up
by the commercial distribution network to get seen by people
and a lot of businesses like Star Wreck, but like the Blair Witch Project studio,
have released stuff into Creative Commons and then sold DVD rights,
