The Centre for Sustainable Community Development in Debar has been working successfuly for 2 years now
and actively participates in the everyday life in Debar municipality.
The Centre for Sustainable Development is working on 3 programs.
The first program is the Good Governance Program,
the second one is the Capacity Strengthening Program and third program is the Environment Program
all of which are successfully implemented by the Centre in the official work of the Debar municipality.
We are mostly conducting management trainings and
trainings in the area of lobbying and advocacy, as well as general IT courses for
the persons from the local self-government and the district ministries functioning in Debar.
The Centre is mostly visited by
students, high school students, social aid users and other groups of citizens from the Debar municipality.
They are using its services free of charge, and are mostly interested in
the information services. They are free to apply for various open competitions
announced by the relevant ministries.
For example, the scholarship competitions for students' accomodation in the high school and
student dorms, etc.
They are also visiting the websites of the news agencies and newspapers
where they have the opportunity to read the latest information provided by the media
