Time Content
00:00 → 00:03

Over the past five months we have worked together

00:03 → 00:06

to unravel a clue of secrets nearly 2000 years old.

00:06 → 00:09

It's path has lead us around the world.

00:09 → 00:14

And, like a true labyrinth, we've circled back to where we started:

00:15 → 00:18

The site of the Olympic Games.

00:18 → 00:21

But this year's games are about more than medals.

00:21 → 00:28

Ariadne, Lucie, Markus, Diego, MeiHui, and Noriko

00:28 → 00:31

have followed the thread towards Beijing.

00:31 → 00:36

But Ariadne wants to stay in this world.

00:36 → 00:39

It feels like home to her now, and

00:39 → 00:42

- after all she has done for this world -

00:42 → 00:43

It think we owe it to her.

00:43 → 00:48

To decide for herself where her home is.

00:48 → 00:51

That's why I've volunteered to retrace the clue back toward the labyrinth's centre

00:51 → 00:57

and take her place in the portal between the universes.

00:57 → 00:59

It wasn't an easy decision,

00:59 → 01:01

and, no doubt, there's another universe

01:01 → 01:04

in which I choose the safer, more comfortable route.

01:04 → 01:12

But to say a lot rides on our success in Beijing is an understatement.

01:12 → 01:15

And the other five refugees are relying on a sixth

01:15 → 01:18

to activate the gate and go home.

01:18 → 01:21

Home.

01:21 → 01:24

An odd word,

01:24 → 01:27

considering everything we've discovered over the past several months.

01:27 → 01:30

I'm not sure where mine is anymore.

01:31 → 01:36

And I can only hope I'll get a chance to return to this world sometime

01:37 → 01:40

in the not too distant future.

01:40 → 01:45

But if I do, perhaps I'll carry the secrets of that universe with me.

01:46 → 01:50

Whatever the case, and wherever I end up,

01:50 → 01:52

I consider it an honour

01:52 → 01:57

to have experienced first hand the legend I devoted my life to uncovering.

01:58 → 02:05

I and the rest of the multiverse are grateful for your support.

02:06 → 02:11

I also wish Ariadne and her friends the best of luck in Beijing.
