I'm Joanne, and this is Rocketboom.

Today, we're investigating an interesting story about a couple named Danny and Nina.

So, to begin with, allow me to introduce them:

Hi, I'm Danny and this is my girlfriend Nina.

And, we're looking for the place to live.

That's right. There's just one small problem:

We don't know exactly where we want to move.

So we had this crazy idea of letting you decide.

You can go there and choose from a list of 250 towns all across the United States.

Yea, and vote for where we should move.

All right, so they're looking to get 1 million votes for one city.

Over 3/4 of a million so far for South Bend, Indiana.

Denver is in second place.

Hm, it looks like out of all the options only 25 people have voted for Ramapo.

Well, I got the inside scoop that my German colleague Katrin has already done some research on this.

So we decided to meet for tea.

Hello Katrin, hey, how are you?

Great! Und wie ist es bei Dir? Nice to hear from you.

The pleasure is all mine.

So tell me about Danny and Nina.

Ok, In English? I'll try. In October we found the website of Danny and Nina, DannyandNina.com

And we liked their idea and thought it was funny to play god.

And how did the audience like the idea?

Oh, they love it. Well, it turns out that we all voted for Plano.

We mentioned it in a show, and since October, we tried to send them there.

Why Plano? Have you already been there?

No, but you know. Danny and Nina live in New York, big, busy...

For a change we thought they need calmness, nature.

And of course, it's a little bit nasty.

Hm, Well if you're all going Plano, then I'm going Plano.

Let's do this.

So while I've got you here, I have another idea.

We set up a page to translate Rocketboom into German each day and Ehrensenf into English.

Oh no way! You could never translate us into English. No one would get it.

Oh, come on, we should try it.

Check this out: Anyone can come along and tweak the transcript, kind of like a wiki.

So let's just leave it up to our audiences to work it out.

If they can send Danny and Nina to Plano, surely they can understand both of our shows.

Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt to try.
