Welcome to Liberec!
This summer I joined 360 Esperanto speakers
in the International Youth Congress of Esperanto in the north of the Czech Republic
I really enjoyed myself!
I met a lot of interesting people from many countries
and we had lots of fun together
We played and danced and sang and there were many other activities during the week
The most important was that I got to make new friends
Since this was just my third Esperanto event
I still had a lot to learn about the community
and the most interesting thing for me was to discover Esperanto music!
Here are a few songs that I learned...
As you can see, we took over the entire main square of the city!
We also shared our international culture, music and languages with the people of Liberec
For example, we introduced them to our countries
There was a bit of bad weather...
but we continued partying!
The strong winds caused a slight problem...
The best part was that I could really act silly with these guys!
It was an excellent week and I'm already looking forward to my next Esperanto event!!
