Good morning, we are in the commercial centre of Mva`a.
We will go around the small market of Sunday.
Sunday is a sacred day in Mva`a.
A day where everybody goes to church.
A day which after church,
Everyone goes to the small market.
Here, you can trade whatever you like.
You find motorcycles, petrol sellers, tomatoes sellers.
I am called Kelly Moussele Denise.
I sell chewing gum.
I go to the centre of town with my grand-mother to buy clothes.
A peculiarity, Oumarou, a Malian,
Came to settle in Mva`a and opened a general store.
Selling almost everything-
Rice, drinks, fish, etc…
To take off a burden from the families in the community.
I am a Malian.
I worked and earned some money.
I then took a train which dropped me
In Douala.
I spent a year in Douala.
Then, I came here in Mva`a.
I was told
General stores are scarce here.
So, I opened one.
I now sell here.
Footballers are playing
During this deserved long holidays.
For students,
This is how the populations of Mva`a
spend their Sunday, thanks.
