- Today we're going to talk creating an account on Voicethread.
- In your browser, in the address bar, type in the word "voicethread.com". Voicethread is one word, and you don't need "www" in front of it.
- So just type in "voicethread.com" and hit Enter.
- And this will bring you to the main screen, and you're presented with a couple of different choices,
- but what you want to look at here is "Sign in or Register".
- If you already have an account, you can click here and just sign in as you normally would,
- but if you're creating an account, you do want to register.
- So click on this link, and if you do have an account, sign in.
- But if you take a look here, "Not Registered Yet? Register!"
- You do want to click on this link here. You're going to register.
- So here you're going to create your account. You're going to plug in some screen name,
- how you want to be known,
- and then you type in an e-mail account, so that information can be sent to you.
- [silence]
- And then type it a second time, so that you make sure that you've got it plugged in correctly.
- [silence]
- And then enter a password, choose a password for this account.
- And again, you'll be typing that twice.
- And you'll see with these green checkmarks, it says that what you've typed in the first time
- and what you typed in the second time is in fact correct [that the text matches].
- When you click on "register", you'll receive an e-mail
- at the account that you plugged in here,
- and it'll give you further instructions for completing the process.
- So plug in your name, your e-mail address, and a password for the account.
- Make sure it's all correct. Click on "register".
- [silence]
- And once you've done that, your information will be sent to you,
- and then you have an account, and you're ready to go.
- [End]
