Meedan.net is about putting you in touch with voices and perspectives from outside your culture and language So we care about translating what you write and post When you write a comment, you'll see it's translated first by the machine translation engine You can then improve this translation by clicking "Help translate this comment" This will bring up an editing page with a full history of the translation to date Articles will also be translated first by the machine through a tool called the IBM Transbrowser You can help improve article translations by clicking "Improve Translations" in the Transbrowser header Then, when you hover over the text you'll get a popup editing box where you can submit your translation and see it published straightaway. Meedan's professional team translators are also on the case translating articles and comments Any translation you provide is stored in the Meedan translation memory which is open source, and available for anyone to use.
