Renato Beninatto

Currently, President at European Language Industry Association (ELIA), Renato has over 25 years of executive-level experience in the localization industry. He co-founded the first market research company focusing on the language services space (Common Sense Advisory). Renato has served on the executive teams for some of the industry's most prominent companies. His focus and knowledge of strategies that drive growth on a global scale have made him a frequent speaker on globalization and localization issues.

David Fraga

As Director of Corporate Development at Shutterstock, the largest subscription-based stock photography agency in the world, David leads the company's M&A, corporate partnership and strategic growth initiatives. At Insight Venture Partners, a $3 billion private equity and venture capital firm focused on software and Internet investments, David worked on investments in companies including Twitter and eVestment Alliance which together represented more than $170M of deployed capital. He is also a Co-founder of LendforPeace.org, an international microfinance non-profit focused on the Middle East.

Robin Kent

Robin is presently Founder of The Fearless Group, an Advertising Consultancy, and an internationally recognized executive. As Chairman & CEO of Universal McCann, the media arm of McCann Erickson advertising and part of the Interpublic Group of Companies, Robin was responsible for one of the world's leading media specialists working in 120 countries with 4,000 employees and $16 billion in billings. In between, as an innovator in the digital music space, Robin was also the founding CEO of SpiralFrog, as well as the founder of Rebel Digital, a digital music marketing consultancy. He is now also heading a stealth startup to be announced.

Michael Novak

Mr. Novak is CEO of Tertia, a Silicon Valley based company working with the music and publishing industries to deliver digital media to the global market of 2 billion speakers of English as a second language. A veteran of the software industry, Mr. Novak has spent the last twenty years focussed on the intersection of Asia, digital media, and technology. He most recently served as board chair of Cogswell Polytechnical College, the leading digital media college in Silicon Valley, and was U.S. Representative to China's annual IT conference. He was also President of Clarke Consulting Group, a leading intercultural communications consulting firm focussed on US/Asia joint ventures.

Kirti Vashee

Currently VP of Enterprise Translation Sales for Asia Online, Kirti is a seasoned IT sales and marketing executive and statistical machine translation (SMT) expert who was previously responsible for the worldwide business development strategy at Language Weaver. He has long-term software industry experience with leadership roles in building sales / support operations in Europe and Asia for several software companies. Kirti serves as moderator of the 2000+ member Automated Language Translation group in LinkedIn, and is a frequent public speaker, blogger and respected twitter contributor on the subject of translation technology. Kirti received his formal education in South Africa, India and the U.S.
